Indiana Fever guard Lexie Hull had another impactful game on Wednesday. TheĀ Caitlin Clark-led team won its 15th game of the season with an 84-40 win over the Connecticut Sun, the No. 2 team in the league.

After the game, Hull was discussing her impact on the Fever despite referring to herself as undersized. As she made a remark about her tenacity on defense, Caitlin Clark couldnā€™t help but laugh.

ā€œThe reason that I’m out there is so try to make an impact defensively,ā€ Hull said. ā€œAnd I know I was undersized going against DB (DeWanna Bonner).ā€

ā€œAnd so Iā€™m trying to just be as active as I could, get my hands on as many balls I could,ā€ Hull added, causing Clark to laugh.

As Clark burst into laughter, Hull and the group of reporters joined in and laughed along.

ā€œOh, Lex,ā€ Clark said.

The clip of the incident has amassed more than 2,000 likes in less than an hour. Watch the hilarious moment below:

Hull had a great game, scoring 17 points and grabbing eight rebounds to help the Fever capture their sixth win in eight games.

Hull had a career-high 22 points on 8-for-10 shooting, including 6-for-7 from 3-point range on Aug. 18, in a victory over theĀ Seattle Storm.

Her 17-point performance against the Sun was only her fifth double-digit game this season, her third such game in the last four outings.

Caitlin Clark breaks WNBA rookie 3-point record

Caitlin Clark also made headlines by setting a WNBA rookie record for three-pointers on Wednesday. Clark scored 19 points, provided five assists, grabbed five rebounds and made three three-pointers.

Her first three-pointer was historic, breaking a tie withĀ Rhyne HowardĀ to set the record for the most three-pointers by a rookie. She surpassed Howardā€™s 85 from the 2022 season. Clark has now made 88 three-pointers this season.

In addition to Hull and Clarkā€™s impressive performances, the Feverā€™s other starters also shone.Ā Kelsey MitchellĀ scored 23 points on 8-for-14 shooting, setting the Indiana franchise record for consecutive 20+ point games with her fifth.

Aliyah Boston and NaLyssa Smith had 10 points and six rebounds apiece, with Boston also dishing out eight assists and recording four steals.

With nine games remaining in the season, the Fever are gaining momentum. According to Tankathon, they have the easiest remaining schedule in the league.

Their next challenge is against the struggling Chicago Sky, led by Angel Reese, who are on a four game losing streak.
