The question though is, would winning the three-peat have convinced the voters? Well, we can’t be sure about that, but the team becoming the first ever in NFL history to achieve something like this, well, it certainly could have influenced the decision. The lease for their stadium expires in 2031, and the team will need to take a call soon. It seems like off the field there is much work to do for Hunt and his team before the next season begins.
Talking about the game the Eagles played amazingly well today; the score (40-22) doesn’t reflect how one-sided the game was. It’s only fair to say the Eagles may have eased up slightly at one stage, enabling the Chiefs to make progress. That’s just sport sometimes; some nights everything goes wrong for you while your opponent is unstoppable.
