Fans React To Caitlin Clark, Lexie Hull’s Hilariously Naughty Moment After Fever-Sun
Sometimes, it’s easy to forget that Caitlin Clark is just a 22-year-old rookie. She may already be one of the best players in the league at this point but at the same time, the Indiana Fever superstar is still coming of age.
Every now and again, we’re reminded of Clark’s endearing childishness. Such was the case on Wednesday night following Indiana’s hard-fought 84-80 win over the Connecticut Sun.
During her post-game press conference alongside Fever teammates Lexie Hull and Kelsey Mitchell, the rookie sensation could not help but burst out in laughter after hearing what she felt was a naughty statement from Hull.
As Lexie was describing her play against the Sun, the third-year guard mentioned that she just tried to “get my hands on as many balls as I could.” Hilarity ensued.
You can see how Clark immediately reacted after hearing what Hull had said. It’s as if she had to do a double-take if she actually heard that line correctly.
While Lexie was obviously talking about keeping her hands active on defense, it was clear that Caitlin was thinking of something else entirely.
To her defense, Clark did say after the interview that she “tried to hold it in.” She didn’t do a very good job at that, though, and she just couldn’t help but laugh at the double meaning of Hull’s statement.

For their part, the fans could not help but poke fun at Clark and her candid reaction to the moment in question.
“To be 22 again, where life is your oyster, and every day is filled with laughter and double entendres. Credit to Christie Sides for letting this locker room be themselves, and bond, as a team. NOBODY wants to face this Fever squad in the playoffs,” said a supporter.
“She is so unserious and it’s perfect,” reacted another.
“Lexie walked right into that one. Caitlin caught on quickly. Kelsey can’t go a press conference without laughing at Caitlin’s antics,” observed a fan.
“LOL!!! Kelsey is like- These girls!! Can’t take them anywhere!!!” a comment read.
“CC with the “Pause” reaction….I’m dead….” a viewer observed.
Whatever the case might be, the important thing here is that Clark and the Fever emerged victorious in this crucial matchup against the second-seeded Sun. Indiana is now closing in on the Phoenix Mercury, who are now just half a game ahead of the Fever for the No. 6 spot in the league.
Only eight teams qualify for the postseason, and Indiana is doing everything it can to secure their spot.
