How Many Commercials Are Shown During the Super Bowl? Revealing Number of Ads During 2025 NFL Championship Game

This Sunday eve will be more exciting than ever, as the Chiefs will face the Eagles at Super Bowl LIX. More than 200 million people will watch the most anticipated NFL event on February 9. Impressively, not only the Chiefs, the two-time reigning NFL champion aiming to clinch their three pear SB title, but several multi-millionaire brands and advertising firms are also looking to score from the overwhelming response to the commercials that will be broadcasted during the 2025 Super Bowl.
Impressively, NFL fans are also excited to see the commercials along with the thrilling game. According to an Ipsos survey report, around 80% of viewers claim that they will be watching the commercials, and roughly a quarter of them say they do it “attentively.” Clearly, several known brands will advertise at Super Bowl 2025, and fans are invested in knowing about them in detail.
How many commercials are shown during the Super Bowl?
The popularity of the NFL’s most exciting TV broadcast is not a hidden fact anymore. Thus, the Super Bowl offers the most valued and expensive television advertising opportunities to make the event even more profitable. To generate more revenue, more brands apply each year than there is space for on the field.

As per Forbes’s website, 50 different brands will showcase their commercials during the Super Bowl 2025. From snack brands to beer, food service, finance, soft drink, travel, CPG, tech, pharmaceutical, entertainment, kitchen, auto, and beauty brands, along with artificial intelligence-related commercials, will be aired during Fox’s 2025 Super Bowl broadcast.
As per a Forbes report published on Feb 3, these brands have come together to spend up to $8 million on commercials. The ad slots at the Super Bowl are booked completely. And, the allotted slots range from 15sec to 30 sec and 60-second commercials. And multiple top-tier brands will be incorporated into the 2025 advertisement.
Which brands will be showcased during the 2025 commercial?
Snacks brands will lead the advertising field during the 2025 Super Bowl. Snack food brands take up the most space with eight of the 50 occupied by the Pepsico brand’s Doritos, while Lay’s is receiving two. Apart from these snack brands, General Mills’ Totino Pizza Rolls will also feature its Super Bowl premiere commercial this year.

Additionally, Häagen-Dazs, Pand ringles owned by Kellanova, Nerds Candy, Ritz Crackers, and Reese.will also showcase their ads during the SB broadcast on Fox this Sunday. Other than snack brands, many beer brands have scored six commercial spots. This number is really outstanding. These beer brands include Budweiser, Busch Light, Michelob Ultra, Coors Light, Bud Light, and Stella Artois. Impressively, the Beer Company’s Coors Light will make its third Super Bowl advertising appearance.
Besides snacks and beer brands, there will be six food service brands that will exclusively showcase their commercials. Such companies include Instacart, Taco Bell, Dunkin, Uber Eats, Little Caesars and Door Dash. Astonishingly, an American food delivery company will broadcast its commercial for the first time in the Super Bowl. Through their SB ad, they will be introducing their new-age grocery delivery service.
Moreover, four soft drinks companies will feature their ads during Super Bowl 2025. Pepsico’s Mountain Dew, Liquid Death (a Canned water brand ), Cirkul ( a bottled water brand ), and Poppi ( Prebiotic soda brand ) will make their Super Bowl appearance through their commercials.
Besides these beauty brands, Dove and Kitchen Brands, Bosch and Hexclad will also make their Super Bowl debut. Additionally, entertainment brands, including NFL, Disney, and Tubi, will also carry the Super Bowl broadcast and commercials free for streamers.
In addition to this, automobile brands Ram and Stellantis Jeep will also make a run at the 2025 Super Bowl. Moreover, Pharmaceutical Brands, Novartis, and Hims & Hers also have the 60-second advertising slot during this year’s SB. Moreover, Travel Brands Booking.com and the third largest cruise line, MSC Cruises, will also make their Super Bowl debut by showcasing their commercials. Besides this, four finance brands, including Homes.com, Rocket Mortgage, NerdWallet, and TurboTax, will also run their commercials.
Additionally, four other tech brands, including Squarespace, GoDaddy, FanDuel (live event), and Meta, are also on deck to run their ads in Super Bowl 2025. On the other hand, five CPG brands, including Angel Soft, Duracell, Hellmann’s, Spruce, and Coffee Mate, will make an appearance. While Coffee Mate and Duracell will be first-time advertisers during the Super Bowl, all set to increase their customer reach prolifically.
