The Chiefs quarterback told reporters Nov. 13 that it’s a “frustrating” and “disappointing” boat to be in. “I can’t get into too many of the details because the investigation is still ongoing. Robbers broke into Travis Kelce’s Leawood, Kansas mansion during the Chiefs game the following evening and reportedly made off with $20,000 in cash.
The Chiefs took the field at Arrowhead Stadium to play the New Orleans Saints that night on Oct. 7. Mahomes and Kelce were seemingly undeterred, however, as the reigning Super Bowl champs made easy work of the Saints. But just to be safe, they spent that night at a hotel in downtown Kansas City, per TMZ.
