The modest Tyler, Texas, home where three-time NFL Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes spent part of his childhood is officially up for sale following his championship loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Listed at $285,000, the three-bedroom, two-bathroom property features 1,475 square feet of living space on 0.14 acres, representing a portion of Mahomes’ family history, highlighted by granite countertops, vaulted ceilings, and a two-car garage. Built in 1988, the home now stands as a marker of humble beginnings for one of football’s brightest stars, and a selling point for sports fanatics as potential buyers.
Photos released by Coldwell Banker Apex, Realtors, showcased an updated single-family layout featuring new lighting fixtures, a fireplace, and a spacious backyard perfect for neighborhood gatherings and backyard barbecues. Randi thanked the company for helping her through the process on her Instagram stories and wrote, “Bittersweet but new beginnings,” thanking them.
Randi Mahomes had already moved on from the property by last March, after posting an Instagram message to Chiefs Kingdom while standing proudly in front of her brand-new home, reportedly purchased by Patrick and valued at around $825,000.
She clutched the keys while sharing the caption, “Home is where the heart is, and my heart is full! Beyond grateful for my amazing family, Patrick Mahomes, Brittany Mahomes, Jackson Mahomes, and my grandbabies for this incredible blessing.”
The new house is a significant upgrade from the Tyler listing, featuring a state-of-the-art modern exterior with gray brick walls, black roofing, and a freshly mowed lawn. Newly planted trees and mulch-lined landscaping complement the modern property, which remains private for family use.
Since moving into her new space, Randi has wasted no time making it a home. She hosted a ‘Real Talk with Randi’ Q&A session and promoted it from her front door earlier this year, proudly rocking her son’s red Chiefs jersey as she announced an appearance at Green Bay’s Field Fest. The community event celebrated friends, family, and football just before the NFL Draft. Randi also took part in the first-ever Sports Parents brunch that she hosted on Draft Day, and featured the mother of No. 1 overall draft pick Cam Ward.
Kansas City made seven selections on draft night, led by first-round pick and Ohio State offensive tackle Josh Simmons. The team also drafted defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott [Tennessee], EDGE rusher Ashton Gillotte [Louisville], cornerback Nohl Williams [California], wide receiver Jalen Royals [Utah State], linebacker Jeffrey Bassa [Oregon], and running back Brashard Smith [SMU].
In preparation for the new season, Patrick has released a series of workout trailers to show off a new physique heading into next year. With the return of Travis Kelce and head coach Andy Reid, the Chiefs are expected to be late playoff contenders as they continue to chase a fifth franchise title.
