The quarterback announced he’s giving a $1.625million contribution to various chapters of the group that provides after-school programs for children across the country.

Clubs in Kansas City will directly benefit, as will three cities in Texas that Mahomes has ties to: Tyler, Whitehouse, and Lubbock.

Both Mahomes and his wife Brittany announced that the donation will be made through the quarterback’s ’15 and the Mahomies Foundation’.
