Patrick Mahomes Shares Exciting Update on Thursday

The Kansas City Chiefs are a month removed from a Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Moreover, the Chiefs have been busy in free agency. They brought in offensive tackle Jaylon Moore, who was previously with the San Francisco 49ers. However, they saw wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins leave for the Baltimore Ravens and traded away veteran OL Joe Thuney to the Chicago Bears.

On Thursday, the Chiefs made another move, this time signing quarterback Gardner Minshew to be the next backup to Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes last played with the Raiders and now stays in the AFC West in an interesting move.

Hours after the Chiefs brought in Minshew, Mahomes had fans excited with a new update that he posted on his Instagram.

The Chiefs QB had a video of him working out with one emoji: a clock.

What’s notable is this is Mahomes’ first workout video since the 40-22 loss to the Eagles in the Super Bowl.

Fans were pumped up about the video as well.

“Y’all best believe he’s coming back to get that Super Bowl,” one fan wrote.

“Time to go to work and get that ring king,” wrote another.

“He getting his Super Bowl this season!” said another.

“Yea champ come back stronger,” another stated.

Mahomes has been active on Instagram and X, but none of his posts have contained a video of him working out until this one on Thursday.

So, one month after the Super Bowl loss, Mahomes is right back to the grind.
