Taylor Swift has travelled 9000 miles to support Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift proved she finds herself running home for boyfriend Travis Kelce’s sweet nothings as she made a 12 hour dash back to the US to catch his big Super Bowl moment.

The chart-topping star was in Tokyo over the weekend to perform a string of the latest dates of her Eras Tour with it seemingly touch and go of she would make it back to Las Vegas in time to catch Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl LVIII. But being a global superstar has it’s perks and Taylor used all her power to get back stateside in time for the big game.

Taylor has travelled over 9000 miles in order to get back to show her support for her man and now has just one part of her journey to complete before the 6.30pm kick off in Las Vegas. She wrapped up her concert at the Tokyo Dome on Saturday night and immediately headed to her waiting private jet at Haneda Airport.

The 17 hour time difference meant she then arrived in Los Angeles landing at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Saturday afternoon after the grueling long haul journey. Taylor has then had 24 hours in which to rest and prepare herself for the final hour or so of her journey to get to the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Taylor of course has her own property in Los Angeles where she will have been able to head for some down time in Beverly Hills before taking the one hour flight to Vegas. When she does arrive at the stadium Travis has reportedly picked up the bill for a suite at the stadium so that Taylor, her family, and his family can all take in the action together in luxury.

If the Chiefs win at Sunday’s game, Taylor won’t have long to celebrate with Travis as she has more Eras Tour shows starting in Melbourne, Australia, from Friday. Fans have been wondering if Taylor would make it to the Super Bowl all week and even the Japanese Embassy in Washington joined in the speculation.

They shared a statement on social media which read: “Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins.” The also said they had been made aware of the media reports “concerning the steps Taylor Swift will need to take to travel from Tokyo after her concert on February 10th to Las Vegas in time to watch the Kansas City Chiefs play in Super Bowl LVIII.”

They added: “We know that many people in Japan are excited to experience Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, so we wanted to confirm that anyone concerned can be Fearless in knowing that this talented performer can wow Japanese audiences and still make it to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs when they take the field for the Super Bowl wearing Red.”
