Speaking to People Magazine, Donna shared her excitement over what her son and the 14-time Grammy winner have in store.

While her statement drove curious supporters to speculate on big news, the 72-year-old mother of two revealed that she could not break through the power couple’s secrecy.

‘I can’t wait to see what it’s going to be,’ she told People at the 2024 Glamour Women of the Year Awards on October 8th. ‘They’re tight-lipped, they don’t tell us anything.’

Donna added that she is looking forward to seeing what the pair dress up as for Halloween.

Donna attended the ceremony after she was named one of the honorees for Glamour’s Women of the Year issue.

On October 3, Glamour revealed that they are highlighting the mothers of different stars for this year’s edition of the Women of the Year.

Donna was listed with Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, Billie Elish’s mother, Maggie Baird, and Selena Gomez’s mother Mandy Teefey as they discussed ‘motherhood, stardom, ambition, and what’s next.’

Donna also told People that her sons were incredibly supportive about her being in the cover despite it coming as a surprise.

‘I wasn’t allowed to tell them. But basically they’re very happy with anything and they support me in whatever I do, so they’re just, they’re like, ‘Mamma. Wow.’ It’s like one of those shocks for me too.’
