Taylor Swift sends fans wild as she responds to Travis Kelce’s nomination for NFL ‘Man of the Year’ award
Taylor Swift has revealed her pride at Travis Kelce’s nomination for the NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, after liking a Kansas City Chiefs post on Instagram.
The pop superstar’s relationship with one of the biggest football stars in the country is going from strength to strength, and while Taylor doesn’t post much about him publicly, she has hinted at her thoughts on his impressive nomination.
On Instagram, the Chiefs posted about how Kelce’s efforts ‘reach further than the football field’ with a video clip of him speaking about his life, and Swift was quick to like it.
Fans, as you might expect, immediately noticed Swift’s activity on the post, taking to the comment section to share their own thoughts: ‘Omg Taylor liked this!!’ one wrote, while another added: ‘Sobbing Taylor liked this aw.’
It is not the first time Kelce has been up for the award, after he was nominated back in 2020 but lost out to now-Steelers quarterback Russell Wilso, nwho is also married to a popstar in Ciara.
This year, though, Kelce will hope to go one better and beat out his 31 NFL rivals to win the award for the first time.

The NFL announced the 32 nominees on Thursday, ahead of the winner being presented with the trophy at the NFL Honors night on Super Bowl week in New Orleans.
Kelce will, of course, hope to be in the city anyway as he and the Chiefs try for the three-peat.
In a statement, the NFL’s commissioner Roger Goodell said: ‘The Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award celebrates Walter’s enduring legacy of excellence on the field and compassion off it.

Kelce and Swift have been dating for over a year now and the pop superstar is yet to miss a game at Arrowhead so far this season.
On Black Friday, she was in attendance alongside her parents for the narrow victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
