During the Kansas City Chiefs‘ preseason finale against the Chicago Bears on August 22, quarterback Patrick Mahomes made a statement with his first-team offense at Arrowhead Stadium.

Mahomes completed 8-of-13 passes for 143 yards and a touchdown, along with 18 yards rushing. Determined to bring the deep ball back, he completed a 58-yard pass to wide receiver Tyquan Thorn and a 20-yard completion to tight end Travis Kelce.

“We have to be able to prove, game-by-game, we can hit the deep passes,” Mahomes told reporters. “If we do that, it opens up the rest of the offense and everybody can get going.”

Mahomes also praised his offensive line.

“They’ve been working hard the entire camp. Obviously, the veteran guys did a great job, but it was good to see the young guys go up against some good rushers. When they give me time like that, guys can get up and down the field.”

While watching the Chiefs take on the Bears in Kansas City, Brittany posted several videos on her Instagram Stories of Sterling and Bronze watching the game. The 29-year-old also shares a selfie in a red tank top and wrote, “Feels good to be back int ARROWHEADDDDD.”

Two days later, Brittany shared an emotional message on the experience and predicted a “good” year ahead. She posted, “Every year is different with my babies, I get so excited taking them to the first game and seeing how much more they understand and enjoy watching their dad play! This year is gonna be a good one 🥹😍🤍”

The album included numerous sideline photos. Before every game, Brittany always greets Mahomes on the field with their children and gives him a good luck kiss.

Fans can expect to see Brittany in Brazil for the Chiefs’ 2025 season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday, September 5.

According to a recent report, Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, is also planning to be in São Paulo for the 2025 season opener.

Based on the first team’s performance against the Bears, Mahomes is even more pumped for the regular season to start.

“It shows all the hard work we’re putting in during training camp is paying off,” he told reporters. “This is a little step, but it’s a step in the right direction. We’re excited to now have two weeks to kind of prepare to face a really good defense in the Chargers.”
