Reservations Gone in a Flash

Located inside the Loews Kansas City Hotel, 1587 Prime has seen an overwhelming demand for reservations, with fans and foodies alike scrambling for a seat. The restaurant’s staff are currently undergoing final training ahead of the opening, but the buzz is already unprecedented.

“We’re overwhelmed and humbled by the response. It’s certainly unlike anything I’ve ever seen or been a part of,” said Matt Smith, chief marketing officer for Noble 33, the hospitality group behind the project.
“I think it speaks volumes to how excited the city is for the steakhouse and obviously to support Patrick and Travis.”

For many, the appeal goes beyond gourmet cuisine; it’s about the chance to experience something connected to two of the NFL’s biggest stars. Fans have likened the reservation process to buying hot concert tickets, with some refreshing booking pages for hours.

“I go to a lot of concerts and I think my pre-sale ticketing experience helped me with this. I was able to refresh, refresh, refresh,” said Becky Warden of Brookside, who managed to secure a table for her anniversary celebration.

Others say the chance to dine at a restaurant owned by Mahomes and Kelce is simply irresistible.

“Top players, top in the league. Super Bowl Champs. Who is better to get recommendations for steak from? Patrick and Travis. You can’t beat it, right?” said Angelo Lopez of Kansas City.

The star power even has some guests hoping for a celebrity sighting.

“I love that Kansas City has this opportunity to go to something that they are doing together. Who knows, maybe Taylor Swift will be there,” joked Janice Bode of Prairie Village.

More Than Just a Meal

For many diners, the draw is as much about the Chiefs connection as it is about the food.

“Obviously Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce owning it. That would be the big draw,” said Tom Jarnevic of Lee’s Summit.

1587 Prime is already shaping up to be more than just a steakhouse—it’s a celebration of Kansas City pride and sports culture. With every table spoken for and the city buzzing with excitement, Mahomes and Kelce’s latest venture is off to a championship start.
