CAITLIN Clark announced she will not participate in the WNBA All-Star game and the 3-point competition in a brutal blow due to her latest injury.

The Indiana Fever star recently re-aggravated her right groin injury during her team’s win over the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday night.

This weekend, the 2025 WNBA All-Star game will take place in Indianapolis for the first time in league history.

Clark had the opportunity to represent the Fever and play in her home venue, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, in Friday’s 3-point contest and Saturday’s All-Star game.

But Clark’s latest injury forced her to miss her team’s game on Wednesday and will keep her out of the All-Star festivities this weekend.

“I’m so excited for Indy to host WNBA All-Star this weekend. I want to thank the Indianapolis Host Committee and all of the people that have put endless work in over the past year to put this event together. I know this will be the best All-Star yet,” Clark said in a statement shared by the Fever on social media.

“I am incredibly sad and disappointed to say I can’t participate in the 3-Point contest or the All-Star Game.

“I have to rest my body.

“I will still be at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for all the action and I’m looking forward to helping Sandy (New York Liberty coach Brondello) coach our team to a win.”

Clark then gave a simple message in the announcement on X.
