Jalen Green’s girlfriend Draya Michele expressed her excitement after the Houston Rockets guard signed a three-year, $106 million rookie contract extension on Monday.
Green earned the lucrative deal following a stellar season, where he played all 82 games and averaged 19.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, shooting 42.3% from the field, including 32.2% from beyond the arc.

Draya has been by Green’s side since 2023 and the couple also shares a daughter.
They welcomed their baby girl on May 12 earlier this year.
Draya, an American media personality and actress, boasts a significant Instagram following of over 9.5 million.
Green and Draya’s relationship has frequently made headlines, particularly due to their 17-year age difference.
At 22 years old, Green is much younger than Draya, who is nearing her 40th birthday.
“We try to stay off the internet and not really listen to that kind of stuff,” Michele had earlier told TMZ while addressing fans’ negative comments about her relationship with Green (from 0:57).
“We block it out and mind our business.
“I don’t know what people’s problem’s is.
Two adults being in love, I don’t know why that would rub people the wrong way.
It’s kind of weird. Love is love at the end of the day.”

In four preseason games, the young guard averaged 20.5 points per game, shooting 43.9% from the field, including an impressive 43.3% from beyond the arc.
In addition to Green, the Rockets also secured Alperen Sengun with a five- year, $185 million contract extension.
