LeBron and Savannah James spoke in a new documentary landing on Netflix

The new show landed on October 9 and followed selected basketball stars through the 2023-24 season.
One of those was Lakers superstar James – who dealt with a health scare for son Bronny, 20.
Bronny suffered a cardiac arrest while playing at college with USC.
The Netflix clip showed LeBron introducing a medical professional called Erin to his mother Gloria.
Erin performed CPR on Bronny during a USC training session in the off-season, it was revealed in the documentary.
An emotional LeBron said, “They are the reason Bronny is alive now and smiling and thriving and doing what any 19-year old should be doing and that’s living out their dream.
“It’s crazy with kids, like when they love something and want something that’s all that matters to them.
“As a parent, you’re like, you know, ‘You had a cardiac arrest.’
“And like in his mind he’s like ‘Can I or can I not play ball again?
“And if the answer is yes, ‘when can I play ball again?’ I love that.”
Bronny made a return to the court but his USC season was cut short.
He entered the NBA Draft and was selected in the second round by the Lakers this summer.
The father and son duo stepped on the court together at the weekend in a preseason game, realizing one of LeBron’s dreams of playing with Bronny.
LeBron and Bronny both played in the Lakers’ loss to the Phoenix Suns this weekend.
LeBron explained, “We came out of a timeout and we kind of stood next to each other. I kind of looked at him.
“It was like being in The Matrix or something.
“It just didn’t feel real. But it was great to have those moments.”
NBA legend James is entering his 22nd season in the NBA.
He is a four-time champion and four time MVP during his legendary career.
