Angel Reese’s recent Unrivaled stats stand as the highest double-double game recorded so far in the league’s inaugural season.
Following her astonishing performance, she did not hold back her tears as the 22-year-old candidly shared her thoughts on the glorious moment in her career.
“It’s so much I can say,” Reese said.
“But for me, to keep going, it’s hard.
It is hard. To live my life isn’t easy.
And I don’t want to get emotional, but that’s why I put the work in every day.
because there are little girls that look up to me, there are the college girls that look up to me.
and just being able to be an inspiration every day.”
Reese’s latest milestone comes just three days after she posted a 15-point, 16-rebound double-double which proved that she has been one of the most consistent players in the league.
She currently stands among an elite group of four players averaging a double-double in Unrivaled, alongside Napheesa Collier, Breanna Stewart, and Alyssa Thomas.
Additionally, she is leading the league in offensive rebounds with 11.4 per game.
“Being able to see my growth, I put in the work, and a lot of people don’t see what I put in,” Reese said.
“It’s great to see the results out there.
But obviously, I’m not done yet.”
Chicago Sky forward’s influence extends far beyond the hardwood.
