Patrick Mahomes led the Kansas City Chiefs to a 19-17 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Black Friday.

helping the team advance to 11-1 on the season.

Despite Mahomes having a solid performance with one touchdown, 306 yards and 26-of-46 pass attempts, the Chiefs struggled at times.

Mahomes may have found a way to help the offense be successful in Week 13.

but he was also on the wrong end of five sacks and 12 QB hits.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid addressed the offensive line’s the protection after the game.

mentioning that Kansas City has to do a better job of protecting their MVP quarterback.

While he was appreciative of the fight from the offense, he believes Las Vegas’ defense was consistently giving the Chiefs trouble.

“Pat took a few hits there so we were struggling at times,” Reid said.

“I’ll tell you that’s it’s disruptive to any offense if the quarterback’s getting hit and not able to get the ball off.

So, that can be a problem. You got to do better than what we did there.”

Kansas City ended the game with 63 total yards on the ground, even with the return of starting running back Isiah Pacheco.

That included 40 sack yard on Mahomes and the offense.

Raiders Pro Bowler Maxx Crosby lit up the stat sheet with one sack, two tackles for loss, four QB hits and four tackles.

Defensive end K’Lavon Chaisson also had a great performance with 1.5 sacks, one tackle for loss, three QB hits and three total tackles.

Andy Reid mentioned that he’s going to give his team some time to rest after the Black Friday game.

partly due to the physical matchup in Week 13, as well as the Chiefs’ grueling schedule over the past few weeks.

Mahomes and the Chiefs will be back on the field for “Sunday Night Football” in Week 14 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
