BREAKING: Chasing Tom Brady’s Record. Patrick Mahomes is making the Chiefs face the brutal truth?(KF)

12 Games Shy of Patriots’ Record, Chiefs Given Brutal Reality Check as Patrick Mahomes Chases Tom Brady’s Feat.

Andy Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs are something different this season, don’t you think.

I mean, a clear record of 8-0 is something worth keeping an eye out for.

Patrick Mahomes is in form, Travis Kelce is getting back to his usual form, and the new guy DeAndre Hopkins seems to be working perfectly in the Chiefs’ system.

Everything seems to be clicking and they are surely showing all the possibilities of replicating the invincible run of Tom Brady’s New England Patriots‘ 2007 run.

However, NFL analysts have given a brutal reality check to the Chiefs as they chase that record.

In the new episode of the podcast “The Odd Couple”, NFL analyst Rob Parker has voiced concern over the Chiefs’ current record.

The sportscaster mentioned that even though this 8-0 record is quite impressive, there have been several points this season during the game where the Chiefs looked all but gone until they turned things around in the end.

He said, “Football is not a series so you could lose one game and all of it, anybody can.”

He didn’t stop at that.

Parker gave two examples to prove his point.

He mentioned the last year’s AFC championship game where the Chiefs didn’t score any points in the second half but ultimately won the game in the end.

And their loss against the Cincinnati Bengals at Arrowhead Stadium, where Mahomes’ late interception led to a field goal that cost them dearly.

For the sportscaster, although the Chiefs have won back-to-back Super Bowls in two seasons and are eyeing the third, they haven’t been dominating and convincing.

He said, “They don’t feel like even though they’ve won two in a row the last year was another year they didn’t feel like they were that dominant to me they won when they needed to when they got in the playoffs but it was a rocky uneven year”.

Although the Chiefs have been enjoying quite a strong run, Parker, in the end, has warned the team that “they can be beaten, they haven’t been yet but they can surely be beaten“.

Now the Chiefs are set to host the Denver Broncos at the Arrowhead on Monday.

It needs to be seen now if Bo Nix and Co. can put an end to the Chiefs’ invincible run so far this season or will HC Reid and the team prove Parker wrong and move forward towards becoming the invincible team this season.

All we can do is wait and see as the season progresses ahead.

Andy Reid acknowledges the challenge of playing against Denver

The man of miracles, Andy Reid, is already over their win over the Bucs last week and is aiming to replicate a similar result this Sunday as well against the Denver Broncos.

However, even with an 8-0 win, the veteran HC is not ready to take the Broncos lightly as he has acknowledged them as a “challenging football team“.

During his recent press conference following Wednesday’s Training session.

Reid talked about facing the “challenge of playing in Denver“.

Reid praised HC Sean and his coaching staff, saying the team is “very well coached, in all the phases“.

The veteran HC then added, “They’ve got good players.

And they’re like I said, they’re playing well, they’re executing well in all three phases“.

Well, let’s be honest here, if not the best, the Chiefs are currently one of the best football teams.

Having lost no games so far this season, with a lineup consisting of some of the top names in the NFL, this is what is expected from Andy Reid’s side.

After winning two back-to-back Super Bowls, the Chiefs are now aiming for the third and how good will that be as an invincible champion?

However, one should not be too confident of their good run, as it may come to an end at any time.

So the Chiefs surely need to be grounded as they face Payton’s side on Sunday, as things could go sideways.

It surely needs to be how things pan out for both the AFC sides who are aiming for a shot at the January games and maybe ace those and move for the ultimate accolade the league has to offer.
