In just a few hours the Kansas City Chiefs will step on the field for their third game in the last 11 days.

With the NFL deciding to place two games on Christmas, four teams were forced into the unfortunate situation of playing three games in just a week and a half.

Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes made it abundantly clear he doesn’t love the NFL’s decision.

“All you can do is focus on the game and the practice that you had that day,” Mahomes said, via ESPN.

“I try to prepare my body all year long for this stretch by tailoring my workouts.

The coaches do a great job of taking care of us on the practice field.

We practice hard as anybody, but they know how to kind of dial it back when we need it.

“It is not a good feeling. I’m excited to play on Christmas to hopefully get back from what we did last year.

Despite his frustration, Mahomes still showed up to work on time as the Chiefs strolled into Acrisure Stadium for a battle against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas.

“QB1 is coming to town,” the Chiefs said of Mahomes, who wore a blue suit.

His outfit sparked plenty of reaction on social media.

“Wish I was there!  LETS GO MAHOMES,” one person said.

“Let’s get this W!!!” added another.

“He always looks so great! Get it Chiefs!” offered a third.

“Merry Christmas goat,” added another.

Kansas City and Pittsburgh kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET on Netflix.
