NFL fans were not impressed with Cris Collinsworth’s call during a play that can be deemed as one of, if not, the best plays of the season.
NBC broadcaster Cris Collinsworth managed to reference Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce during a jaw-dropping play made by Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen during Sunday Night Football.

Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen breaks a tackle by Fred Warner and runs in for a touchdown in the fourth quarter of the 35-10 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
NBC color commentator Cris Collinsworth walks onto the field before an NFL playoff game in January.
Allen added to his MVP resume against the San Francisco 49ers.
The 28-year-old became the first quarterback to throw a touchdown, rush for a score, and catch a touchdown in the same contest.
Two of those touchdowns, the passing and the catching, occurred on the same play during the third quarter when Allen threw a pass to Amari Cooper.
The wide receiver proceeded to lateral the football to Allen, who then ran into the end zone.
The rarely-seen play caused Collinsworth to shout “No!” in disbelief as Allen dove for the pylon and scored the touchdown.
Collinsworth then added, “That didn’t just happen?” before really disappointing fans with his commentary.
“Now how many times have we seen stuff like this out of Kansas City and Travis Kelce,” he said about the play.
Collinsworth referenced Kelce, and other Chiefs players’, knack for lateralling the football after catching a pass from Mahomes.
Fans moaned about Collinsworth’s call of the play on social media.
“HOW did Cris Collinsworth see THAT Bills touchdown and praise TRAVIS KELCE.
AND say ‘that was Kansas City magic?!?!?!?! He has to be doing it on purpose now,” one wrote.

“Only friggen Collinsworth manages to [bring up] Mahomes/Kelce [while] describing an insane Josh Allen play,” another added.
“Cris Collinsworth there is zero chance you just brought up Travis Kelce and the Chiefs,” a third commented.
“I hate you Cris,” a fourth added.
Allen and the Bills dominated the 49ers, beating them by a score of 35-10.
