Everyone’s Saying the Same Thing About Josh Allen After Handing Chiefs First Loss.

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been regarded as a Top 5 quarterback for some time now.

but rarely is he mentioned in the conversation as the best player in the NFL.

That narrative is changing this season, especially after the performance he put forth in Sunday’s 30-21 win over the previously unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs.

Allen completed 27 of 40 passes for 262 yards, a touchdown and an interception.

and he added a 26-yard rushing touchdown with 2:17 left in the fourth quarter that iced the game .

and may have cemented his status as the front-runner for NFL MVP .

at least that was the agreement among some of the top sports analysts on social media.

“When Josh Allen wins MVP in a few months, that’s the play we’ll show,” ESPN’s Mike Greenberg said of Allen’s fourth-quarter touchdown run.

“Josh Allen. Welcome to being neck and neck for MVP,” ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky wrote.

“JOSH ALLEN JUST TOOK THE MVP LEAD,” former Fox Sports host Skip Bayless stated.

“Now that… that is an NFL MVP play by Josh Allen. Wow.

What a pop here at Highmark Stadium,” commented Joe Buscaglia, Bills beat reporter for The Athletic.

“Lamar Jackson’s season is unreal.

But how can MVP voters not look at Lamar’s 4 losses with the best offenses in football in every category Josh Allen is about to go to 9-2 with much less on the offensive side of the ball.

Most VALUABLE player…not Best Player,” Chase Daniel said.

“My unofficial MVP ranking: 1: Josh Allen 2: Lamar Jackson 3: Saquon Barkley 4: Jared Goff 5: Patrick Mahomes,” FS1’s Emmanuel Acho remarked.

Allen entered Week 11 tied for fourth in touchdowns (17), ninth in passing yards (2,281) and passer rating (100.2) and 10th in yards per pass (7.6).

With Sunday’s victory, Allen became the new betting favorite to win MVP according to DraftKings with +150 odds, just ahead of Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (+175 odds).
