Travis Kelce Had Brutal Performance Amid Taylor Swift Absence.

Earlier this weekend the Kansas City Chiefs traveled to Buffalo for a battle against star quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills.

Buffalo entered the contest as the slight favorite, playing in front of its home crowd at Highmark Stadium.

Of course, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs can never be counted out – he owns an 11-3 record as an underdog in his career.

Like most of their battles over the past few years, Sunday afternoon’s showdown between the Bills and Chiefs was a back-and-forth battle.

Buffalo opened the scoring on its first drive of the game following an interception from Mahomes.

Running back James Cook punched it in from three yards out to give the Bills a 6-0 lead following a missed point after from kicker Tyler Bass.

Just two series later it was Allen’s turn to turn the ball over with a questionable interception.

The Chiefs took advantage as Mahomes found rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy on a 10-yard touchdown early in the second quarter.

Cook answered with his second touchdown of the game before the Chiefs added another touchdown.

when Mahomes hit tight end Noah Gray to give Kansas City a 14-13 lead.

As time expired in the first half, Bills kicker Tyler Bass drilled a field goal to give Buffalo a 16-14 halftime lead.

Following a scoreless third quarter, Buffalo extended its lead to 23-14 thanks to a touchdown pass from Josh Allen to Curtis Samuel.

Unsurprisingly, Mahomes and the Chiefs answered, this time with another touchdown pass to Noah Gray – which led everyone to wonder what was happening with tight end Travis Kelce.

Normally the star of the show, Kelce was noticeably quiet during the contest.

The future Hall of Fame tight end had just two receptions for eight total yards on the night.

Fantasy football managers didn’t take kindly to the brutal performance.

which took place without his girlfriend Taylor Swift, who apparently didn’t show up to the game.

Swift is performing a series of concerts in Canada, so she had a good reason.

“Travis Kelce, it is time to go start whatever life with Taylor Swift.

Leave my fantasy football team alone,” one person joked.

“Is Travis kelce even out there participating in today’s activities or is he at Taylor swift concert?” questioned another.

In the end it was the Bills that walked out with the win, handing Kansas City its first loss of the season.

The Chiefs fell to 9-1, while Buffalo improved to 9-2 with the 30-21 victory on Sunday afternoon.
