Prayers are pouring in for the NFL coach diagnosed with cancer at 35 years old.

A member of the Denver Broncos coaching staff has been diagnosed with cancer.

Zack Grossi, a 35-year-old passing game specialist, has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

Grossi had been feeling off for the past couple of weeks, having trouble breathing, so he went to the training staff and they ran some tests.

Ultimately, they found a tumor, diagnosing him with a Yolk Sac Tumor, which is a rare tumor that grows in the ovaries, testicles, chest, abdomen, or brain.

Thankfully, it’s believed to be highly treatable.

“The diagnosis is scary, but the good news is it’s highly treatable.

I began chemotherapy this week, and after a few more months of chemo, I’ll have surgery to remove the remaining tumor,” Grossi said.

“My approach isn’t so different than getting ready for a game.

I’ll stay the course, keep working and keep grinding.

Day by day is my motto.

I have marching orders from my doctors, and I’m trusting the process.”

NFL fans are praying for Grossi as he makes his recovery.

“Our unwavering support is with Zack and his family as he takes some time away to focus on his health,” head coach Sean Payton said.

“Knowing what Zack is all about and talking with him since his diagnosis, I have no doubt he will Fight Like A Bronco.

We’ll be with him every step of the way and can’t wait to welcome him back to our staff.”

NFL fans added their own thoughts.

” Coach. You got this ,” one fan wrote.

“Prayers for you Coach,” one fan added.

“Best of luck Zack. The whole football community is behind you,” another fan added.

“Lost my mom to cancer. It’s terrible, thoughts & prayers ,” one fan added.
