The Kansas City Chiefs suffered a tough loss to the Philadelphia Eagles during Sunday’s Super Bowl LIX, but one quarterback’s wife is finding comfort from someone very close to their family.
Undoubtedly, Patrick and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, are navigating an emotional rollercoaster, given the game’s outcome didn’t go in their favor. However, a heartfelt message may offer a small but meaningful respite for their emotional recovery.
In a now-deleted Instagram story, shared by People, Brittany posted a thoughtful soliloquy sent to her by pediatric sleep consultant Jenna Artis.
“Not only is Patrick a standout football player, changing the game with his talent and integrity both on and off the field, but he’s also redefining what fatherhood looks like — even with a full plate,” Artis wrote with deep admiration.
Artis then directed her praise toward Brittany, noting her awe of all she balances in her many roles — mother, wife and sport’s team co-owner — and emphasized that anyone would be fortunate to count her as a friend.
The registered nurse also acknowledged Patrick’s active involvement in their children’s lives, highlighting his dedication as a father.
“To so many, you’re the #1 football player, but to three little ones, you’re the #1 dad,” Artis wrote.
Artis’ sentiments are a perfect reflection of the couple’s supportive dynamic. Back in February, Brittany faced criticism for her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut, but in a now deleted Instagram story, she called her spouse “the most amazing supportive husband.”
Last year, Brittany revealed that the nicest compliment she’s ever given her Patrick was that he’s a “great dad.”
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are parents to three children: Sterling Skye, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon and Golden Raye. The two tied the knot in March 2022.
Brittany Mahomes ‘Fav Workout Partner’ Isn’t Patrick Mahomes
Just over three weeks ago, the Kansas City Chiefs suffered a 40-22 blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.
Life for Patrick Mahomes and company is finally getting back to normal following their brutal loss. Just last week the team celebrated the return of future Hall of Fame tight end Travis Kelce, who announced he’ll be back for his 13th season after considering retirement.
Mahomes took to social media to react to the news with a gif from “The Last Dance” a documentary featuring the Chicago Bulls dynasty led by Michael Jordan.
While Mahomes celebrates the return of Kelce, his wife, Brittany, is putting in some work of her own. Mother to three children, Sterling, 4, Bronze, 2 and Golden Raye, who was just born on Jan. 12, Brittany was back in the gym with a special guest.
She revealed her “fav” workout partner is the couple’s youngest child – who remained concealed in the stroller during her Instagram stories.

Ahead of the Super Bowl LIX loss to the Eagles, Mahomes revealed Golden would be in attendance at the Superdome despite being just a few weeks old.
“She’s been amazing, she’s been sleeping well. Mom’s been extremely happy, and I’m excited for her to be able to come,” he told reporters at the time. “I think it’ll be her first football game at the Super Bowl, and I hope that we get her a win.”
The Mahomes family has plenty to celebrate this offseason.
