His dreams soared the moment he learned which team had drafted him
Joshua Kaindoh arrived at the Kansas City Chiefs as a fourth-round draft pick, and from that moment on, he knew his athletic career would take a 180-degree turn. He was now part of a franchise that would be contending for championships year after year.
Kaindoh came out of Florida State University and has made the most of what the organization offered him. That’s why the defensive end reflects positively on the journey he’s had so far.
Travis and Jason Kelce karoke talent learned from Taylor Swfit in full display
He joined the team after their loss to Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LIV. And once he arrived, it quickly became clear what it takes to thrive with a team like the Kansas City Chiefs in a league as competitive as the NFL.
When they picked me, I knew I was going to win the Super Bowl. It’s Super Bowl or bust. They’ve got very high standards.
His head coach, Andy Reid, is known for making both offense and defense train together in a series of integrated drills designed to improve rhythm and intensity.

In these sessions, the ball must be returned to its original starting point, regardless of the yards gained on the previous play. Repetition is the key principle in these exercises.

Travis Kelce admitted the drills ‘broke’ him
On one occasion, tight end Travis Kelce, who is now enjoying the limelight alongside his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, confessed after a training session that one of these drills had left him completely drained.
Kaindoh echoed this sentiment, explaining that the demanding physical activities pushed him to the edge and made him understand what it means to perform at maximum effort, leaving every drop of sweat on the field.
Oh, boy, you better buckle up, boy, you know. You might start with maybe 10 and then eventually get to 20-plus plays… “Just straight going and going and going and going. When dudes came from other teams, they’ll always be like, ‘Man, y’all different here.’… But, you see the proof in the pudding. They got all the accolades to prove what they’re doing. That long drive drill was something crazy, man.
When asked whether anyone had ever lost their breakfast during these grueling sessions, Kaindoh replied:
Yeah, when they’re passing out, me included.
A dream come true
In his rookie season, Kaindoh and the Chiefs fell to the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship. Later, he made it to a Super Bowl and won it-but unfortunately, he was released by Kansas City in August 2023. Now, he’s shifted his focus to fashion.
I’m transitioning into this, basically like this creative space,” he said. “At first, the three pillars for me were fitness, fashion, and lifestyle… Now it’s turning really into more fashion. I’ve always liked to get fly. But now we’re really trying to like elevate it.
