Patrick Mahomes and ANGRY Brittany Mahomes attends Patrick grandfather’s funeral as Chiefs QB is seen for first time since Super Bowl defeat BUT there’s something that happened that got fans Reacting Towards Brittany… WATCH THE VIDEO 👇

Patrick Mahomes was seen attending his grandfather’s funeral in Texas on Monday following his death at the age of 78 last week.
Randy Mahomes, the father of Patrick’s mother Randi, passed away on Friday after battling an unknown illness in recent months.
His death came just five days after Patrick, 29, and the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9.
The Chiefs quarterback made the trip to Henderson, Texas, on Monday for Randy’s funeral, where he was seen alongside younger brother Jackson, 24, in exclusive photos captured by DailyMail.com.
Patrick, who suffered a nightmare performance in Kansas City’s defeat at Super Bowl LIX, could be seen wearing a black polo shirt with a red rose attached to it and black sneakers, while Jackson opted for a grey suit, white shirt and navy shoes.
Randy died five days after Kansas City’s crushing defeat against Philadelphia, with Patrick’s mom announcing that he had passed away.

‘Hard to find the words of holding my fathers hand as he goes to Heaven,’ Randi Mahomes wrote alongside a series of photos of her father.
‘I know he’s in a better place. I love you daddy. Well done, good and faithful servant’.

Randi had repeatedly spoke on social media about her dad and his ill health but never revealed precisely what problem he was suffering from before his passing. Randy turned 78 on January 6.

Before the Super Bowl in New Orleans, the Chiefs quarterback’s mom said her father was ‘hanging on’ to see Patrick play in football’s showpiece game.
‘I know that it has meant a lot to him (that Patrick is in another Super Bowl). And I think he’s hanging on because he wants to see his grandson do an amazing thing or just let him play,’ she said to People.

‘I mean, he must be such a proud grandpa, so proud. And my mom was very proud and his other grandparents.’
Mahomes’ mom added that she has kept the Chiefs quarterback updated on his grandfather’s health but tried not to ‘bug him’ ahead of the Super Bowl against the Eagles.

Despite her father being moved into hospice care Randi was still in attendance at both the Super Bowl in New Orleans and last month’s AFC Championship game in Kansas City to cheer on Patrick.

After last month’s win over the Buffalo Bills, Patrick was quick to come together with his family on the field at Arrowhead Stadium.
In an emotional family moment, he posed with mom Randi, wife Brittany – just days after she gave birth to their third child – dad Patrick Snr, brother Jackson and half-sister Mia.

For Patrick, the news of his grandfather’s passing came weeks after the birth of his and wife Brittany’s third child, a second daughter called Golden Raye.

The three-time Super Bowl champion fell way below his usual standards in New Orleans earlier this month, after being sacked six times and throwing two costly interceptions – including a pick six.

Rival quarterback Jalen Hurts stole the show on the night to seal a 40-22 victory for Philadelphia, with Kansas City’s dreams of a historic three-peat coming crashing down at the very final hurdle.
Mahomes was quick to shoulder the blame after the defeat on Sunday, writing to Chiefs fans in a post on X: ‘I let y’all down today. I’ll always continue to work and try and learn and be better for it.’

He also added in his postgame press conference: ‘I can’t turn the ball over when it’s not going our way. I have to learn from that and get better from that.

Anytime you lose the Super Bowl, it’s the worst feeling. It’ll stick with you for the rest of your career. It hurt more than the wins feel good. It’s going to hurt for a while, but how can you respond to it.’
