A disabled young girl recently asked basketball star Caitlin Clark a question that left many speechless: “Do you believe in Jesus Christ?”
The touching moment took place during a charity event where Clark was interacting with fans. The girl, who had been following Clark’s career for years, mustered the courage to approach her role model. As the two spoke, the girl asked the question that was on her mind. What came next surprised everyone, including the girl herself.
Without hesitation, Caitlin Clark smiled warmly and said, “Yes, I do. I believe in Jesus Christ, and my faith is a big part of who I am.” Her answer wasn’t just a simple acknowledgment; it was spoken with deep sincerity and conviction, showing the depth of her personal beliefs.

Clark went on to share a brief but powerful message about how her faith has shaped her life, both on and off the basketball court. “My faith gives me strength, not just to perform well in basketball, but to be a better person. It helps me stay grounded, humble, and focused on the bigger picture,” she explained.
The young girl, visibly moved, thanked Clark for her response, and the two shared a brief but emotional hug. The moment quickly went viral, with many praising Caitlin not just for her athletic prowess but for her openness and courage in sharing such a personal part of her life.
Clark’s candidness in a moment that was far from basketball showed fans that her strength isn’t only found in her jumpshots—it’s rooted in her faith, values, and willingness to stand for what she believes.
Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend Connor McCaffery feeling the heat as Butler struggles continue
The Bulldogs have cratered after a strong start.

Safe to say that Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend Connor McCaffery wasn’t expecting the Butler Bulldogs to have the season they are having after joining the coaching staff in September 2024.
The Big East side were picked by many to have a breakout campaign, and they seemed on course to do just that after starting the season with a 7-3 record.
However that strong start seems like a distant memory as Butler have cooled off since then, so much so that they sit at the bottom of the Big East standings.
The Bulldogs currently have an 0-5 record in conference play, with their 80-76 defeat to the Creighton Bluejays adding to the misery. It means Butler, along with DePaul, remain the only Big East teams without a conference win so far this season.
Unfortunately for Butler they need to turn things around quickly, or they run the risk of making some unflattering history. Currently on an eight-game losing streak, this year’s Butler team are inching ever closer to the program’s all-time run of consecutive losses, 12, which was set back in the 1980/81 season.
One of the biggest issues for the Bulldogs has been their offence, as they were averaging 76.6 points per game. That figure has dropped to 71.6 games per game, largely due to their fact that their average has dipped to 66.1 points per game during their losing streak.
Fans wondering when Clark’s good luck will return
With Butler fans desperate for any sort of spark to shake things up, some fans have been wondering when Clark will return to being a good luck charm.
After winning the WNBA Rookie of the Year award, Clark’s presence seemed to help the Bulldogs earlier in the year. However, that good luck has disappeared, leaving fans wondering if the magic is gone.

Clark wasn’t in attendance for Butler’s game against Houston on December 7, and since then, the Bulldogs have continued their downward spiral.
They lost to Villanova last week after blowing a 13-point lead, eventually falling 79-51. With games against Seton Hall and DePaul on the horizon, Butler fans will be hoping that the players and coaching staff come up with answers as they look to salvage their season.
