Lonzo Ball’s Honest Advice for LiAngelo Ball’s Basketball Future

On Angel Reese’s podcast, Lonzo shared a candid take on LiAngelo’s prospects, stating his NBA chances might have dwindled.
Lonzo urged his younger brother to consider playing overseas, suggesting the G League might not offer the opportunities he needs.
“I feel like the opportunity is not gonna be the same in the G League for him…
I think his path is overseas,” Lonzo said.
Despite the blunt advice, Lonzo’s intentions were rooted in love and practical guidance.
LiAngelo’s G League averages of 4.4 points and 1.1 rebounds make the NBA an uphill battle.
Playing overseas could help him rebuild his career, as it has for others like PJ Tucker and Dante Exum, who eventually returned to the NBA with improved skills and renewed confidence.
Lonzo Ball’s Return to the Chicago Bulls
While Lonzo’s comments about his brother made headlines, his return to the Bulls after a wrist injury also garnered attention.
