The Get Rich or Die Tryin’ performer spilled the news on his Instagram page writing: “I’m on the move listening to Pop smoke, I decided I’m gonna executive produce and finish his album for him.”
The artist, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, had become close to the 20-year old rising star before he died and recently praised a cover he did of one of 50’s classic tracks Many Men.
He made the vow to work on the album as the caption of a picture of him sitting on the steps of a private jet, and the announcement garnered a lot of positive reactions from fans of Pop Smoke who was shot twice during a home invasion, reportedly carried out by four suspects in hoodies.

“That’s a good move 50cent. Stay positive. Have a great day” wrote one.
“You’re the man” wrote another.
While another comment read: “Album of the year in the making”.
And the entertainment mogul didn’t waste time in putting his words into action, immediately reaching out to some of the biggest names in music to assist him with the project.
After getting Roddy Ricch, who has been sitting atop the US Hot 100 charts for the past seven weeks with his song The Box, to agree to come on board, he also reached out to the In my Feelings singer Drake via instagram.
