Caitlin Clark Reacts to Aliyah Boston’s Post
The Indiana Fever just capped off a historic season with WNBA rookie Caitlin Clark. Following the Fever’s WNBA playoff series loss to the Connecticut Sun, many players took to social media to share their gratitude for the season.
Star forward Aliyah Boston posted a few pictures from the season, and she received a couple of replies from colleagues in the comments.
“Year 2,” Boston said. “Giving thanks to God for His continued blessings.”
After her post, Clark sent a message to Boston, saying, “So proud of u,” with a red heart and praying hands emoji.
The second-year star ended a phenomenal season with the team, where she averaged 14.0 points, 8.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.
Clark and Boston turned into one of the best duos in the WNBA in 2024. The rookie averaged 19.2 points,5.7 rebounds 8.4 assists per game.
Clark was tied with Kelsey Mitchell for the highest average point total on the Fever, while Boston led the team in average rebounds.
Boston had a slight decline in production from her 2023 Rookie of the Year numbers, but much of that came with the arrival of Clark, who’s a ball-dominant guard.
During her first year in the WNBA, Boston averaged 14.5 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.

Boston and Clark were able to lead Indiana back to the WNBA playoffs for the first time since 2016. The Fever may have been swept in the first round of the postseason, but they certainly improved from the 2023 season.
They finished the 2024 season with a 20-20 record, listed as the No. 6 seed in the WNBA standings.
In 2023, Boston’s rookie season, the Fever ended the year outside of the playoffs with a 13-27 record.
