Kate Martin Goes Public with New Girlfriend

Las Vegas – Las Vegas Aces rookie Kate Martin wasted no time addressing the speculation surrounding her love life over the weekend. Martin shared a photo of her and a girl named CLA Grany on her Instagram story. Once this post went public, many people assumed they were dating. This led to some fans making TikTok videos about Martin’s alleged girlfriend. One went viral with the caption, “I can’t be upset if that’s Kate Martin’s girlfriend because she is literally gorgeous, stunning, beautiful, perfect.”

Martin commented on that post, writing, “She is gorgeous, stunning, and perfect. I can’t lie.” This very well could be Martin’s way of confirming her relationship. There aren’t any photos of Martin on CLA’s Instagram account at the moment, but perhaps that will change. Martin, on the other hand, hasn’t posted a photo on Instagram since April.

Even though Martin isn’t lighting up the box score in Las Vegas, she has quickly become a fan favorite due to her hustle and humble personality. As of now, she’s top 15 in fan voting for the All-Star game. “Oh my gosh, I’m embarrassed,” Martin said. “I feel really grateful for the fan support that I have. They don’t have to do that; they don’t have to go and vote for me. That takes extra time out of people’s days, so I really appreciate it. But there are a lot of deserving people to get those votes, and there are a lot more deserving people that should go to the All-Star game.”

Martin is averaging 4.0 points and 2.5 rebounds per game for the Aces. Don’t let those numbers fool you; her future in the WNBA is very bright.
