Chargers Superstar Khalil Mack Suffers Gruesome Elbow Injury As His Arm Snaps In Wrong Direction During Collision With Teammate vs. Raiders [VIDEO]

Los Angeles Chargers superstar edge rusher Khalil Mack left Monday night’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders after suffering a gruesome-looking arm injury in the first quarter after colliding with teammate Troy Dye.

Khalil Mack and Troy Dye were trying to tackle Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker late in the opening frame when the injury occurred. Mack and Dye awkwardly collided during the tackle attempt, and we warn you that the close-up angles of the injury below may be hard for some to watch:

Doctor of Physical Therapy Jeff Mueller and sports medicine doctor Jesse Morse already fear a potential dislocated elbow for Mack. Morse also speculates that it could be a fracture or dislocation.

The nine-time Pro Bowler is in his 12th NFL season, and his fourth with the Chargers. He has 107.5 sacks, 43 pass breakups, 32 forced fumbles and three interceptions for his career.

The Chargers already lost All-Pro offensive tackle Rashawn Slater for the season when he suffered a torn patellar tendon in practice. If Mack is also out long-term, the Bolts’ playoff hopes will have suffered yet another significant blow.
