Could the parents of Patrick Mahomes be setting aside their differences 18 years after their divorce as they look to connect with the Kansas City Chiefs‘ quarterback’s children through social media?

 

Randi and Mahomes Sr. were married in the late 1990s but they eventually divorced each other in 2006 and since then, they have had an amicable relationship and still support their sons, although they have both moved on

So by retaining their connection to the Chiefs‘ QB’s kids, they have also managed to find something they might actually agree on as the pair poured in their love to their grandchildren following Brittany Mahomes‘ cute post.

 

So Sterling Skye and Bronze‘s grandparents swiftly responded to the post in their own loving ways as Mahomes Sr. wrote, “What up young king,” whilst Randi commented, “Awe sweetness i love it.”

Patrick Mahomes Sr. almost had his life turned upside down in February 2024 when the ex-MLB pitcher, who played for the Boston Red Sox, was stopped for driving a car with an expired registration plate.

He was then later arrested for driving under the influence by police in Texas after failing sobriety tests and was found to be around three times over the legal limit of blood alcohol content as the 54-year-old had appeared to relapse into his drinking habits

But as he denied being drunk to the law enforcement that stopped him, he then began to plead for sympathy on behalf of his son who was getting ready to take on the San Francisco 49ers on February 11.

Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany are expecting their third child together. The NFL power couple have been together for years, always keeping their fans and loved ones updated about the major events in their lives.

The two announced their new pregnancy before the 2024 NFL season kicked off, even hosting a grand gender reveal later.

In a new Instagram story, Brittany shared a photo of her at the gym. The mom of two was wearing a neon orange two-piece gym outfit, posing to the camera with a peace sign.

“Still grinding out here,” Brittany said.

Last week, Brittany even shared a snippet of her Saturday outing with daughter Sterling Skye and son Bronze.

“Saturdays are for my babies❤️,” Brittany Mahomes wrote on Instagram.

Patrick Mahomes’ mother Randi and Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt’s wife Tavia also hyped the same.

Busy throughout the year, Brittany and Patrick Mahomes have to work extra hard to sort their schedules out in-season. The family is always on the move, with events extending to brand content, premieres, shoots and NFL games.

During an interview with WHOOP in August, Brittany revealed how she focuses on making Mahomes’ life less stressful. While he is focused on the family during the off-season, Brittany acknowledged she loses Mahomes to football from September to February.

“And I lost my husband in football last season. But that was like, as a wife I understand that’s what you want to do. I wasn’t ragging on him. I wasn’t interfering with what he had,” Brittany said. [17:30]

“I think that’s why we work so well. It’s like, I understand that during football season, Patrick is with football, and so I take on a lot of the things that I can just to make his life a little bit less stressful outside of football.”

With the 2024 NFL season underway, one can expect more such updates from the Mahomes family.
