NFL Fans Are Convinced Chiefs-Jaguars ‘Monday Night Football’ Game Is “Rigged” After Refs Suddenly Went Blind During Game-Changing Play [VIDEO]
NFL fans believe the referees rigged Monday Night’s game for the Chiefs after a questionable decision went against the Jaguars.
The AFC teams faced off for the final game of Week 5, as KC came in with a 2-2 record and the Jags entered at 3-1. The visiting Chiefs looked to be running away with the game after going up 14-0, but the home side tied things up and then went ahead by seven points on a lengthy pick-six.
The Chiefs would tie the game again at 21-0 following a pick of their own that ultimately led to a touchdown.
Trent McDuffie picked Trevor Lawrence off close to his own end zone, but replays showed Jayden Hicks slamming into Parker Washington and knocking him to the ground, leading to the INT.
The refs ruled it as that on the field, much to Lawrence’s surprise.
The play led to rife claims of the officials cheating to get the Chiefs back in the game after Patrick Mahomes got them to change their call earlier in the game.
“what is this hit on the WR & no flag🤯,” one X user posted.

“How is this not PI? It’s clear as day,” another asked.
“Here come the Chiefs & the referees in the 4th quarter,” said a third.
“This is quite literally pass interference,” another fan claimed.
“The act is getting stale @NFLOfficiating Chiefs clearly commit pas interference. Nobody apparently sees the primary receive get knocked down and out of the play as the Chiefs intercept the ball?
“What are the refs watching if not the primary receiver where the ball is thrown?” a user inquired.
The Jaguars went up by three points on a field goal, but KC would find the end zone again to retake the lead.
