Rams WR Puka Nacua Was Dripping Blood From His Face, Goes To Locker Room After Taking Vicious Blow To The Head [VIDEO]
Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Puka Nacua had to leave Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans with a head injury that left him bleeding in a gnarly scene.
Puka Nacua suffered the injury after taking a vicious head hit from Azeez Al-Shaair of the Texans. For those unaware, Al-Shaair was the player who got suspended for three games last year for a vicious head hit to Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who missed the rest of the season.
Nacua was immediately taken to the locker room, with blood dripping from his face: Shaair was penalized for the hit.

Fortunately, Puka Nacua avoided a serious injury, as he returned to the game a few minutes later. Per ESPN, Nacua had three receptions for 23 yards before taking the hit from Al-Shaair.
A fifth-round pick of the Rams in 2023, Nacua had a record-breaking rookie season that saw him finish with 105 receptions for 1,486 yards and six touchdowns. Despite missing six games last year, Nacua caught 79 passes for 990 yards and three touchdowns.
