Cheryl Richardson-Wagner, the woman identified as the Phillies “Karen,” has denied that she’s the one who abused a dad and his young son to secure a home run ball during a game on Friday night.
Social media sleuths identified the female fan as the aforementioned, but it appears the search might not be over, because it doesn’t look like she’s the one.

One Cheryl Richardson-Wagner has been forced to release a statement via Facebook, insisting that the woman shown in the viral videos is not her, adding she’s actually a Red Sox fan.
“Ok everyone… I’m NOT the crazy Philly Mom (but I sure would love to be as thin as she is and move as fast)… and I’m a Red Sox fan,” she wrote in a post.
One X user claimed to have even called Cheryl, who denied being at the game but was convinced it was her after she asked her to send some ID and got hung up on.
She has since deleted her tweet.
