Erika Kirk shared a Thanksgiving tribute to her late husband, Charlie Kirk, two months after the right-wing personality was assassinated.

Erika, 36, posted a video on Instagram on Thursday, Nov. 27, which showed her sorting through letters and gifts her family has received, as she marked her first holiday without her husband.

“Charlie and I always loved Thanksgiving because it drew us back to the simple, but holy practice of gratitude,” she wrote in the caption of her post. “And even now, well, especially now, in the depths of the ache, I’m reminded of that gratitude.”

“God blessed me with being married to the love of my life, with our beautiful babies, with our family and friends, and with people from all over the world who have sent us letters, toys, artwork, and Bibles,” Erika continued.

“I can’t express what the outpouring of love has meant to me and the babies,” she added, referring to her and Charlie’s 3-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son. “I’m reading every letter and card, opening every gift, and saving each one for them when they’re older. I’m thankful for a God who brings life out of ashes, who guards my heart, and who carries us as we do our best … today and every day.”

Erika then ended the caption, saying she would “save a plate” for Charlie during their Thanksgiving dinner.

In the video shared by Erika, the couple’s daughter could be seen walking around an office, where the letters and gifts — including paintings of Charlie and the family — were stored.

Erika included a voiceover with the clip, detailing how she speaks to her daughter about Charlie’s death.

“We talk about heaven. I make it really exciting. I tell her, ‘Daddy had so much fun today,’ ” Erika said in the voiceover.

“I tell her — my son, he’s only a year and a half — but I tell both of them, ‘Daddy is telling all of his friends to send you gifts and letters, and daddy is orchestrating from heaven to make sure that you always feel so loved,’ ”  she continued.

The mom of two also shared the post on her Instagram Stories, writing alongside it, “There’s always something to be grateful for. Even when it hurts.”

Erika’s post comes days after she said she was “praying” that she was expecting a third baby following her husband’s death.

“We wanted to have four,” she said during a conversation with Megyn Kelly on SiriusXM. “And I was praying to God that I was pregnant when he got murdered. I was like, ‘Oh goodness, that would be the ultimate blessing out of this catastrophe.’ “

Charlie died on Sept. 10 after being shot during a campus event at Utah Valley University.

The right-wing commentator, who founded conservative advocacy group Turning Point USA, was manning his signature “Prove Me Wrong” table on the first stop of his American Comeback Tour at the university when he the incident took place.
