In a headline-grabbing twist, the beloved sportscaster and the legendary quarterback are front and center in news that has fans on the edge of their seats.

With the NFL preseason now underway, excitement is building for football’s return for the first time since Super Bowl LIX back in February, where the Philadelphia Eagles dominated the Kansas City Chiefs to capture their Lombardi Trophy in franchise history.

Calling that game was the Fox Sports lead crew, featuring NFL legend Tom Brady in his debut season in the broadcast booth alongside Kevin Burkhardt, with Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi on the sidelines.

Following that game, however, there was some uncertainty about what Fox’s coverage might look like this upcoming season. While Brady signed a massive deal with the network, his role has faced scrutiny due to his minority ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders, raising questions about what he can and can’t say on-air.

Additionally, that Super Bowl marked the end of Erin Andrews’ contract with Fox, and there were questions surrounding her return—along with her close friend, podcast co-host, and pregame host Charissa Thompson.

Fox Has Put Those Doubts to Rest

After agreeing to lucrative extensions with both Andrews and Thompson in July, the network has now officially revealed its full game crews for the upcoming season.

Once again, the lead broadcast crew will feature Erin Andrews, Tom Rinaldi, Tom Brady, and Kevin Burkhardt. Fox also announced five other notable game crews—largely unchanged from last season—while studio coverage remains mostly the same, outside of the departure of Jimmy Johnson who retired this offseason.

“Presenting our team for Fox Sports’ 32nd season of NFL coverage,” the network shared Friday.

Fans reacted to the full announcer teams:
