Mila Kunis Opens Up About Meeting the Cast of ‘Mormon Wives’ Thanks to Ashton Kutcher

In a recent interview, Mila Kunis shared her excitement and memorable experiences working on the film Mormon Wives, revealing how her husband Ashton Kutcher played a special role in connecting her with the cast. The film, which took a year to make, brought the actors together in a way that felt like a summer camp, fostering strong bonds among the team.

Reflecting on her time on set, Kunis expressed genuine joy, saying, “I loved every minute of it. Even if I wasn’t in the scenes, it was fun to go to set and watch certain things be filmed.” She noted how the script was incredibly detailed with visuals, sometimes making it hard to imagine how scenes would come to life until she saw the filming firsthand. “Sometimes you would just want to go to set to kind of see what they did,” she added.

Kunis plays the role of a police chief in the film, a character she described with pride. “She’s in charge. I can’t make that mistake,” she joked, recalling the coolness of wearing the police hat and suit on set.

The actress also touched on her personal life, sharing a sweet story about how Ashton Kutcher surprised her with a FaceTime call featuring the Mormon Wives cast. “He was doing a junket in New York and he FaceTimed me. I think I was barely awake at the time. He said, ‘You’ll be happy about this,’ and then turned the phone to the ladies from the show. I was like, ‘Oh my god.’ He knows me so well,” Kunis laughed. “I was like, ‘Hi girls.’ It was great.”

When asked about family TV time, Kunis revealed that she has two teenagers and shared some of their favorite shows. “American Ninja Warrior is a big one in our house. We love America’s Got Talent. That’s a big one. Wheel of Fortune—my kids love that,” she said. She also confirmed that her children watch Entertainment Tonight, keeping up with celebrity news just like their mom.

Mila Kunis’s candid reflections highlight not only her enthusiasm for Mormon Wives but also the warmth and connection that developed among the cast, thanks in part to Ashton Kutcher’s thoughtful gesture. Fans can look forward to seeing this dynamic team bring the story to life on screen.
