Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes may be entering another demanding NFL season, but off the field, life is just as full. Alongside his wife, Brittany Mahomes, the power couple recently welcomed their third child, Golden Raye, adding even more joy to their growing family.
And according to both parents, three just might be the magic number.
The Mahomes family now includes daughter Sterling Sky (born in 2021), son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon (born in 2022), and baby Golden Raye, born on January 12, 2025. The arrival of their third child came as the quarterback was gearing up for another championship push, and while football remains front and center, the family’s expansion has clearly grounded him.

During a candid conversation on the WHOOP Podcast, Brittany Mahomes addressed the big question many fans had—will there be more Mahomes babies in the future?“Nope. We’re done, we’re done for a while. Three,” Brittany said with a smile. “I don’t know, I mean I feel like you can never like say you’re done, but I think three is all I need.”That sentiment is shared by her husband. Patrick, who’s always embraced fatherhood with pride, also seems content with the current dynamic.
“I’m good with three for right now,” he said after Golden Raye’s birth. “We’ll see down the line, maybe. But my goal was always three. So, we’ve had three. And we’ll stick there for a while and see if we need to come back and get another one later on.”
