What was supposed to be a fun night at a Coldplay concert turned into an internet scandal—and now, Grace, the woman who filmed the infamous Kiss Cam moment, is finally speaking out.
The clip, filmed on July 16, 2025, shows a couple awkwardly dodging a kiss when the camera lands on them. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin joked about it on stage, suggesting it might be an affair. That “joke” set off a firestorm. The man in the video? Andy Byron, CEO of AI startup Astronomer. The woman beside him? Allegedly Kristen Kat, his company’s Chief People Officer—and neither were with their spouses.
Grace, who captured the moment, says she had no idea who they were when she posted the clip. It quickly went viral, now hitting over 53 million views.
“I never meant to hurt anyone,” Grace told The Sun. “It just looked funny at the time.”
Despite Grace not making any money from the video, Byron is reportedly threatening legal action, claiming emotional distress and invasion of privacy. Legal experts say the lawsuit is unlikely to go far, given the public setting of the concert.
Since the video blew up, both Byron and Kat have left their jobs at Astronomer. The company is trying to recover from the PR disaster—and surprisingly, Gwyneth Paltrow (Chris Martin’s ex-wife) even appeared in a parody ad for the firm, poking fun at the situation.
Meanwhile, Kristen Kat has been spotted without her wedding ring, fueling speculation about the state of her marriage.
What started as a kiss cam gag has become a full-blown saga about scandal, privacy, and internet consequences. And it might not be over yet.
