The Fever head coach even voiced her displeasure with the referee after the loss

THE injured Caitlin Clark angrily called out a WNBA referee after the Indiana Fever’s loss to the Dallas Wings on Tuesday night.
The 23-year-old superstar was spotted in a heated moment after the Fever’s 81-80 loss in Indianapolis.

The Fever were down one point with less than two seconds to go in the fourth quarter when guard Kelsey Mitchell chucked a three-shot attempt for the victory.
However, the ball hit the backboard instead and gave the lowly Wings their ninth win of the season.
While the 9-24 Wings celebrated the road win, Caitlin Clark, who has been sidelined with a groin injury for close to a month, walked on the court toward official Amy Bonner.
And Clark was spotted on ESPN, seemingly showing her frustration as the ref appeared to point toward the bench.
Indiana Fever forced into drastic action after two season-ending injuries
The two-time All-Star wasn’t the only Fever member who appeared to take issue with the officiating.
After the game, head coach Stephanie White called out the “double standard” in the officiating of the physical game.
“If it’s going to be physical, and you’re going to allow us to be physical, then allow both teams to be physical. If you’re going to call the holds, and you’re going to call the chucks, then call it both ways, White said, per the Indy Star.
“So, I mean, I think that we’ve been pretty consistent in what we’re asking for, and I didn’t feel like it was consistent.”
White “went up to the referees multiple times during breaks and timeouts to talk and get clarity on different foul calls,” the outlet reported.
Indiana star Aliyah Boston recorded three fouls, including a questionable call involving Wings center Li Yueru.

The Fever will hope to get back in the win column on Friday against the Washington Mystics.
