Caitlin Clark Posts Three-Word Comment on Boyfriend Connor McCaffery’s Photo

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark, who broke the rookie record for assists (10) during the WNBA All-Star game, is finally getting some rest during the Olympic break, as she was not selected to be a part of Team USA’s roster.

With a non-stop schedule over the past year, spending quality time with her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, hasn’t been easy. McCaffery, who works as an assistant for the Indiana Pacers, however, appears to be going on vacation at the same time as Clark.

A former Division 1 basketball player at Iowa, McCaffery reflected on his professional career with the Pacers after summer league officially came to a close. “Year 1 in the books ✅,” he wrote on Instagram, which garnered a comment from Clark.

“Proud of u 🖤,” she wrote, which quickly racked up hundreds of likes.

A week earlier, Clark took to Instagram to celebrate McCaffery’s birthday. She captioned the post, “Happy Birthday Con! Celebrating you is easy 🙂 thankful to have someone as selfless and as loving as you in my life🖤 May this be the year you finally find a way to outshoot me 😉 Love you always 🥺🤍.”

While Clark didn’t reveal where she’s going on vacation, the 22-year-old was genuinely thrilled for the nearly month-long break.

“I honestly can’t wait to not touch a basketball for a while,” Clark told reporters after the All-Star game with a laugh. “I’ve shot too many times in the past year.”
