Brittany Mahomes Reveals Whether She Wants to Expand Her Family with Husband Patrick Mahomes

The couple, who tied the knot in March 2022, share three children together: Golden, Patrick, and Sterling

Brittany Mahomes is not interested in expanding her family anytime soon.

On the Wednesday, June 11 episode of the WHOOP podcast, the Kansas City Current co-owner, 29, opened up about whether she wants to add another little one to her family of five. Brittany, who shares her three children with husband Patrick Mahomes, quickly replied that while it’s hard to say she’s completely done, the parents of three have no intention to welcome another child “for a while.”

“Nope,” she responded. “We’re done. We’re done for a while. Three. I don’t know, I mean I feel like you can never like say you’re done, but I think three is all I need.”

The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Sterling Skye, 4, on Feb. 20, 2021, followed by their son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 2, on Nov. 28, 2022. The couple welcomed their third child, a daughter named Golden Raye, 5 months, on Jan. 12, 2025.

On Friday, March 14, Brittany shared a photo on her Instagram Stories of herself and husband, spending quality time with their older daughter, Sterling. In the photo, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, 29, can be seen helping his daughter out with a word puzzle, using a yellow crayon to color in the answers.

“Took our girl for some one on one time today 🥺🤍,” Brittany wrote over the post. “If you have more than one kiddo, I advise to still make one on one time with each of them!”

Patrick’s biggest, and smallest, fans were there to cheer him on during Super Bowl 2024 in Las Vegas. Brittany, Sterling and Bronze stood by the quarterback’s side as he accepted the Lombardi Trophy following the big game.

“[Sterling] loves to watch her dad play football. She can see him from a mile away and pays attention and keeps up with what’s going on with him,” the doting mom told PEOPLE in January 2024.

Brittany marked Mother’s Day this year with some garden fun with her children. The star shared some Instagram stories of her elder two children enjoying playing on a huge inflatable slide and later on a giant trampoline.

Sterling and her little brother, Bronze, could be seen climbing up the slide and splashing down into the water section of the inflatable. The pair also enjoyed jumping on a giant trampoline, with Brittany sharing that she also loved to do that as a kid.

A third Instagram story saw the mom of three lying on the floor while baby Golden adorably babbled beside her. “Girl is telling me all about her day,” she captioned that frame.

Later on Sunday, May 11, Brittany reflected on motherhood, calling it her “greatest joy.” Alongside some sweet snaps of her three children, she said that she “thank[s] the Lord every day for allowing me to become a mom.” She added that her children bring her “so much happiness.”

“I love every second of every day that I get to spend with them,” Brittany noted.
