One amusing fact remains the 3% increase in penalties yearly as per the CBA’s base for inflation. So Rachaad White would have to lighten up his purse for getting too pleasant after scoring.

The reason behind a fine for throwing the ball into the stands is about the crowd’s safety. Whenever a player throws the ball, it could result in fights among the fans. Here’s an interesting fact. The fans couldn’t keep the ball if a player threw it at them. The ball could be kept only if a player hands it over.

If someone doesn’t want to pay the fine, they can also appeal against it. The NFL then schedules a hearing with an appeals officer. They appoint a random officer so no one can take advantage of the process. Rachaad White was clearly caught throwing the ball. Hence, he might not appeal and pay it off.
