Caitlin Clark post-game interview at Iowa Hawkeyes arena | Indiana Fever WNBA women’s basketball
Caitlin Clark hits insane 36-foot 3-pointer in Iowa return with Fever that had it all
First impressions from Liberty training camp
Caitlin Clark looked right at home back at her old stomping grounds, and that included reclaiming her sweet spot just like the good old days.
Clark knocked down a logo 3-pointer from 36 feet out during a 108-44 win over the Brazil National Team in an exhibition game at the University of Iowa.
The impressive shot came in the closing minute of the third quarter, with Clark knowing full well that she would not be playing in the final quarter of the night.

Clark pulled up and the ball soared through the air, and the crowd erupted when it went through the hoop for the impressive trey.
The superstar finished the night with 16 points in the win, and she told reporters after the game that she wasn’t planning on taking a logo 3 during the game.

It came about a foot behind the mark of the floor from where she set the NCAA Division I women’s basketball career scoring record during her senior season.
“I know coming into the game everybody wanted me to shoot one from there,” Clark said. “I was like, ah, why not? Might as well launch one and it went in. … That was pretty fun and you don’t always realize how far back you are. I had to give the fans a little something, I told you I was going to.”
Clark celebrated the shot emphatically, looking toward the crowd, and then appeared to point at ESPN broadcaster Ryan Ruocco, who was on the call for the telecast of the game.
The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year joked that, “I’m sure he had a good ‘you bet’ call.”
Clark’s deep 3s have become a staple of her game from college and into the pros, and with new head coach Stephanie White at the helm, it isn’t likely to change.

The shots from 3 didn’t bother the new Fever coach, she said following the game.
“I’ve been watching her do it for four years, five years, really,” White said. “So that’s just who she is. It’s what she does. I mean, nobody tells Steph Curry not to take good shots, right?”
The game also saw Clark have a friendly mic’d-up conversation with Brazil national team coach Leo Figueiro, who praised the Fever star.
When it was over, a number of the Brazilian players asked Clark to autograph their jerseys
