His appearance on the injury report means he was treated by the training staff for the ankle injury.
The fact that he participated fully in practice suggests the injury is not serious, but it is still something to keep an eye on.

Chiefs superstar QB Patrick Mahomes suddenly popped up on Thursday’s injury report with the ankle ailment he suffered during Week 8’s demonstrative victory over the Raiders.
There is no reason to be concerned about Mahomes, though this is the first time he’s appeared on Kansas City’s injury report.

He’s just fine and will continue leading the NFL’s only undefeated team.
On the contrary, there is a larger risk that he’ll suffer a big injury.
We saw Mahomes deal with ankle issues in previous playoff matchups, creating an adequate fear that Chiefs fans would see the same in 2024.
So far so far, though Mahomes’ appearance on the injury report at least raises an eyebrow.
He’s off to the worst start of his career through eight weeks with eight passing TDs to nine interceptions.
It’s been a mediocre first two months by Mahomes’ standards, which is a hilarious thing to say given the Chiefs are the league’s only undefeated team.
