An NFL fan has been accused of ‘performing voodoo’ on a doll with a likeness of Patrick Mahomes during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl blowout defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Following the Birds denying the Chiefs a historic three-peat at the Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, quarterback Mahomes, 29, described the loss as the ‘worst thing in the world’.
During the NFL Championship match, the Chiefs star threw two interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown by Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean.
He was also sacked six times, lost a fumble, and finished the game with 21 completions out of his 32 pass attempts, including three touchdowns.

“There’s no way around it. Anytime you lose a Super Bowl, it’s the worst thing in the world… it will stick with you the rest of your career,” he told journalists after the game in Louisiana.
“I mean these will be the two losses that will motivate me to be even better, for the rest of my career. Because you only get so few of these [Super Bowls], and you have to capitalise on them.
“It’s going to hurt for a while, but how can you respond from it?”
However, it appears that Mahomes and his teammates’ toothless display could actually have been caused by a fan practising black magic in the stands of Caesars Superdome.
In a viral clip, shared via social media, a woman wearing green for the Eagles could be seen repeatedly rocking back and forth while forcing a needle into a presumed voodoo doll.
The miniature person was dressed in Chiefs’ white and red uniform and featured Mahomes’ No. 15 jersey number.

The video of the woman seemingly doing witchcraft at 59th Super Bowl has spread like wildfire and has already drawn thousands of comments from both gleeful and concerned sports fans.
Some people believe the woman, now dubbed the Super Bowl Witch, was piercing the doll with a pin to direct energy and/or intent towards the person it was crafted to represent.
“When you think you have seen it all in the US then this happens…A woman was caught doing magic during the Super Bowl,” someone remarked online.
“I noticed [Mahomes] looked pale and not well. I thought it was stress,” another user reported.
“That doll is a representation of someone so whatever she’s doing to that doll is also happening to somebody omg,” a third user noted.
A fourth joked that they wanted to ‘acquire her services’ for the upcoming Formula One season, while someone else said: “Sighhhh its just poking holes in dolls people, its just a f****n doll, and doesn’t affect real life. At all. Welcome to the World.”
A sixth typed: “Wow this is just awful. Witchcraft needs to be outlawed. I don’t understand why it’s allowed now in the open like this.”
