Slow-Mo Video of Caitlin Clark’s Epic Stepback Three vs. Dream Breaks the Internet

There was no shortage of big moments for Caitlin Clark in the Indiana Fever’s 104-100 overtime victory over the Atlanta Dream on Sunday, September 8. For one, the rookie sensation matched the record for the most games (five) with 25 points and 10 assists in WNBA history.

Another noteworthy moment for the Fever All-Star was her insane step-back three in the second quarter against Dream guard Maya Caldwell. Clark got herself caught up as she attempted to drive to the basket. She was forced to give the ball up to teammate Katie Lou Samuelson, who for her part, gladly gave it back to Clark when the latter found some space.

Clark then busted out one of the nastiest moves of the game.

That was just one of Clark’s four three-pointers of the evening, but that had to be the prettiest one of the bunch.

Thankfully, this eye-popping play got the slow-mo treatment it deserves.

The nine-second clip has taken social media by absolute storm. As of writing, it hasn’t even been 36 hours since it was posted and already, the video has amassed a whopping 382,000 views.

Talk about going completely viral, right?

Clark, who is currently the frontrunner to bag the WNBA Rookie of the Year title, clearly has a lot of tricks in her bag. She just busted one of them out in this play to momentarily free herself of her defender. The degree of difficulty of having to pull up for a three-point attempt with that little time and space is insanely high.

Then again, this is Caitlin Clark we’re talking about here.
